This course is suitable for individuals with little or no experience of book-keeping. The Manual book-keeping is covered in the first term and Computerised book-keeping in the second term, using an integrated accounts package (TAS 8). Areas covered: Book-keeping Principles, Computer principles, Set-up and Input of Transaction Data, Computer reports and Analysis.

Certification: FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate.
