Course Description

This course is designed to provide participants with a portfolio of skills essential in the planning, financing and management of a small business enterprise and to enable students to develop a business idea into an enterprise. The acquired skills can also be utilised to gain employment in financial services, marketing and e-business areas.

Graduates will be fully equipped to realise their own business ideas and to become self employed. The course will also equip students to exercise flexibility in the general business areas of marketing, finance and e-business.

Students who successfully complete this course will achieve a FETAC Level 6 Award

Participants should have successfully completed a FETAC Level 5 course or equivalent, or have 5 passes in their Leaving Certificate (incl. a Business subject), or be a mature student with relevant experience.
