Course Description

The Professional Diploma in Global Trade & e-Business is primarily designed to give students a practical and applied understanding of the many aspects involved in International Trade. The course takes the student through many of the concepts and challenges facing the large and small international trader today. Students are equipped with the specialised knowledge and skills needed to contribute immediately and effectively in a global trade market.

• Global Trade Project (Students must complete an investigative study designed to apply theory to practice)

Graduates have progressed to careers in organisations such as An Bord Bia, Microsoft, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Aer Lingus and Irish Distillers as well a number of international trade organisations

Students who successfully complete this course achieve a Professional Diploma in Global Trade and e-Business, accredited by the Institute of International Trade of Ireland (IITI). The Institute is a member of the International Association of Trade Organisations (IATTO).

The institute of International Trade of Ireland manages the educational and academic research aspects of export trade practice and policy for the Irish Exporters Association.

With its Professional Diploma in Global Trade it aims to provide a centre of knowledge and expertise for students in all aspects of the industry.
