Course Description

This course is designed to provide a combination of practical and theoretical tuition in all aspects of digital sound engineering and event production. Students will work with Pro-Tools digital recording software and will gain experience in the operation of a fully equipped digital studio and the production of live performance recording.

Graduates are prepared for direct entry into the sound engineering industry. Successful students can improve their employability by proceeding to the diploma level course in this college and then continue to degree level in Glamorgan University

Students who successfully complete this course achieve a FETAC Level 5 Award in Media Engineering (EMEXX).
